  • Daily Captain, : *Helps me end the day with a clearer head* I've been trying Daily Captain because I sometimes start my day with a long list of things to do and end up forgetting half of them. What I liked about this app is the morning, midday and evening check-ins. It gives the day a bit of structure without making productivity feel like another task. The evening review is probably my favourite part. Taking a minute to look at what actually got done and what needs to move to tomorrow is surprisingly useful. I also like that the idea isn't about having a perfect day every single day. Some days don't go as planned, and that's normal. The experience feels simple and focused. I'd personally like a little more flexibility when plans change halfway through the day, but overall I like the approach. It's a nice reminder to be more intentional with how I spend my time.
  • Mile Zero: Weed Break Tracker, : I wasn't expecting a tracker like this to be presented as a road trip, but it's a pretty interesting approach. Instead of just showing how many days you've completed, Mile Zero gives you a route to follow, with different stops and postcards along the way. I liked the postcard idea because it gives me something new to check each day. The mood and craving check-ins are also useful without making the whole process feel too complicated. *The SOS feature is another thoughtful addition*. Having a small action to focus on when a craving hits makes more sense than simply telling someone to stay motivated. One thing I think could be improved is the onboarding. A few things could be explained more clearly, especially how the routes and daily check-ins work. I'd also like the app to make it easier to understand what happens to your progress if you log a detour. Overall, it's a different approach from the usual habit trackers. I like that it doesn't make the experience feel like a strict challenge or make users feel bad about setbacks. The concept is simple, but the little details make it more interesting. Definitely an idea worth exploring further.
  • ClearCutCode, : Title: A useful way to prepare for technical interviews beyond just coding Pros: - I like that ClearCutCode focuses on how you explain your thinking, not just whether you get the coding answer right. - QuickCuts are a nice idea for practicing in short sessions without committing too much time. - DeepCuts make the preparation more interesting by adding follow-up questions and making you think through different situations. - The personalized feedback is a good addition because it gives you something specific to work on. Cons: - The onboarding could be a little shorter and simpler for new users. - It would be helpful if the scoring explained more clearly why a particular answer received that score. - Some feedback could be more directly connected to the actual answer rather than general suggestions. Overall Experience: Overall, I think ClearCutCode is an interesting approach to technical interview preparation. Most platforms focus heavily on solving coding problems, but I like that this one also works on communication, reasoning, and explaining your approach. The short practice sessions are particularly useful when you don't have much time. There is still some room to improve the feedback and scoring experience, but the core idea is genuinely useful. I would be interested in using it more and seeing how the coaching improves over time.
  • ilee, : A different kind of AI assistant that feels easy to use Pros: - I liked the minimal design and the little cat interface. It feels different from the usual AI tools. - The idea of having an AI assistant available on the screen without needing to open a separate app is really interesting. - Page summaries and checking are useful and can save time when browsing. - The interface is simple and doesn't feel too complicated to get started with. Cons: - Some features could use clearer explanations, especially for first-time users. - The AI agent and computer control experience could be smoother and more reliable. - It would be helpful to have more customization options for the assistant's appearance. Overall Experience: Overall, I had a good experience trying Ilee. I like the idea of an assistant that can help in the background instead of waiting for you to ask every single time. The cat interface also makes it feel a little more personal. There is still room to improve how some features work, but the concept is interesting and I can see it being useful for everyday work. I'll be interested to see how it develops.
