TestMyBuild is a product of Heegstra LLC. We want everyone to be able to use it, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or a high-contrast setting. This statement covers the website at testmybuild.app.
What we aim for
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is our target, not a claim that we meet it everywhere yet. We have not had an independent audit.
What the site does
- All text has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background.
- Every control has a label, including the buttons that open a file picker.
- Each page has one main heading, and the page language is set.
- Buttons, links and checkboxes have a target of at least 24 by 24 pixels.
- A Skip to content link is the first thing the keyboard reaches.
- A dialog takes focus when it opens, keeps Tab inside it, closes with Escape, and gives focus back to where you were.
- Motion is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- A status is always said in words, never by color alone.
Before launch we checked every page of the design for these points, on 8 Oct 2026.
If something is in your way
Tell us. Email info@testmybuild.app and say which page and what happened. The device, the browser and any assistive technology you use help us reproduce it. We answer within 30 days, usually much sooner. If a barrier stops you from getting something done on TestMyBuild, say so and we will help you get it done another way while we fix it.
Changes
We review this statement whenever we ship accessibility changes, and at least once a year. The version line at the top shows the current version.
