- Trawelio, : I tested Trawelio as a tour operator looking for a booking site for a small island tour business. The positioning is immediately clear: this is a tour operating system for Southeast Asia, not a generic website builder, and that focus shows in the features. What worked: The two live demos are the best thing here — a full sample operator site and a genuinely interactive admin dashboard with departure calendar, bookings, customers and QR check-in. That builds trust fast. The feature depth is real: tours, packages, cruises, transfers with pickup zones, guest-type pricing, vouchers and a guest CRM. Pricing is transparent on the homepage (Starter $36, Growth $101, Advanced $175, Enterprise from $204/month, 14-day trial), and the zero-commission model — payments go to the operator's own Stripe, Omise or Pay Solutions account — is a genuine advantage over OTAs. What did not work: The free trial is not really free to start. Signup is a 4-step flow (plan, account, billing, payment), and the Terms say a payment method is required, the plan auto-charges via Omise when the trial ends, and fees are non-refundable — none of that is disclosed on the trial signup itself. The "Compare all features" button did nothing when I clicked it. Prices are shown in USD while the pricing note says billing is in THB, and the currency selector flipped between THB and USD on reload. The nav advertises a mobile app that is only "COMING SOON" with no store links. Note: the listing here mentions PayPal, but the site itself only lists Stripe, Omise and Pay Solutions. What I would change: Put the card requirement and auto-charge clearly on the trial signup step, not buried in the Terms. Fix or remove the compare button, show prices in one consistent currency, and label the mobile app as roadmap until it exists. Overall a polished, convincing product — but sort the trial transparency before asking operators for card details.
