  • Daylift, : 1. It only works if everyone in the house actually uses it. Usually one person sets it up and the others ignore it, so joining and daily reminders should be as easy as possible. 2. People already use free stuff like WhatsApp groups, Google Keep or Apple Reminders for this. The single Today page is the edge, so I'd lead with that. 3. Home inventory, warranties and habits feel like extra products. I'd focus on chores, shopping and dinner first. 4. For flatmates, fair chore rotation (who did what last) would be a big reason to switch.
  • Ventari, : A few things I think will decide whether it takes off: 1. Trust around money. This is the big one. I'd want to clearly see who holds the money and what happens if someone drops out or the trip gets cancelled. Refunds and withdrawals should be easy to find. 2. The real competition is one friend collecting money on UPI or Venmo plus a WhatsApp group. Seeing everyone's progress and booking in one place is the edge, so I'd make that the main pitch. 3. Flight and hotel prices need to match Booking.com or MakeMyTrip. If they don't, people will just pull the money out and book elsewhere. 4. A paid plan for something people do once or twice a year feels a bit off. Free pools with a small fee on bookings might work better. 5. Deciding where and when is often harder than saving. Group voting on destination and dates would help a lot.
