- Daily Captain, : Tested on web, signed up and wrote a goal, then hit the paywall and chose “Not now”, so I only saw the first-run flow and the read-only Today page. Worked: One field and a goal written in seconds. The Today page is calm, and the morning / midday / evening layout is easy to follow. The trial terms are clear, with dates for the reminder (Sat 17 Oct) and first charge (Mon 19 Oct, $49.99), plus a cancel route. “Not now” keeps my account and what I wrote. Didn’t work / confused me: The paywall appears right after the first goal, before I’ve seen the midday or evening sections. “Not now” makes the sheet read-only, so I couldn’t tick a goal or fill the evening notes. The core idea can’t be tried without starting a trial. The goal limit is inconsistent. The first screen says “up to three”, Today says “no limit, but be realistic”, and the listing says “Seven goals a day.” My daily quote was in Frisian with no translation, so it gave me nothing. The listing says to cancel in Google Play only, while the app says “in Settings, in two taps.” Web and iOS users have no steps in the listing. On the paywall, the Terms and Privacy links are clipped under the sticky button. The bell and flag icons in the header have no labels. Change: Let me complete one full day before the paywall. Use one goal limit everywhere. Show quotes in my language or with a translation. Make the cancellation text match across the listing and the app. Fix the clipped links and label the icons.
